Following
three years of research and testing, Douglas Marine has introduced
a range of mooring devices that significantly reduce the strain
caused to leisure craft by wave and wind action or the wash
of passing boats. Known as Master Mooring, the junior 20 and
30 versions each come in three sizes for boats from 9 - 90
tons while the Giga is inteded for craft in the range 90 -
130 tons. The Junior is for boats from 9-12 tons, 12-14 and
14-16 tons, the 20 is for boats from 16-25 tons, 25-35 tons
and the 30 is for boats from 45-55 tons, 55-70 tons and 70
- 90 tons. Customised version of master mooring can also be
produced to secure floating pontoons.
